MIRACULOUSLY Saved From a Gruesome Car Wreck

    in General Discussion

I cannot remember if I shared the following testimony, so, I am posting it now. Let your hearts be encouraged. God's eye is on the righteous and a sparrow cannot fall without His consent. (We are made "righteous" when we are born again as the Scripture says, because, it is the righteousness of Jesus which covers us).

    TESTIMONY - March 23, 2022

    SAVED from a Car Wreck:

It was late last night March 23, 2022, when, the three of us (Carly, myself, Sarah) were just driving around as we do at times when we want to get out of the house after dinner. As we were approaching a leftward bend in the road (leftward for our car), a narrow two-lane road, shockingly & suddenly a white car raced around, coming from the opposite direction, wholly out of the bounds of his lane, his car circling very wide into our lane. Right in front of my eyes, as if in slow motion, I was seeing an imminent head-on collision between us. I suddenly cried "Jesus, help us!" Miraculously, something stopped that car DEAD in its race! It did not look like that driver is the one who was able to stop his car like that. He was speeding an unbelievably unnatural speed for not only turning on a bend of such a narrow two-lane road but that also it was a 25-mile zone! I saw with my own two eyes, how, immediately upon my calling out the name of the Lord that, that car stopped like you might see in a cartoon, from going 50 mph to a SUDDEN DEAD stop! As if an invisible hand stopped it. There were no sound of screeching heard, which would be normal in situations like this! But, no skidding sounds or sounds at all! It was truly miraculous! My husband had veered right as much as possible to avoid that car being wholly in our lane head-on and had stopped our car before both of us could only watch & wait until that car was to hit us. It would have been high impact due to the speed in which that car was going. A couple of seconds after this miraculous sudden stopping of that car, its driver just looked at us in anger and then took off and went his way. It's interesting how that it was Cain who became angry, even though HE's the one who was in the wrong.

I was soooo very very thankful to the LORD that through tears all the rest of that night, I worshipped and praised the LORD in song and in adoration of worship, praying in the Holy Ghost, etc. I am still choked up and so very thankful for this miracle from the LORD. . I told the LORD that I will proclaim his mighty works and tell it to people.

I was thanking the Lord as the Scripture came to my mind

    PSALM 46:1

".......God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

    PSALM 20:7

"Some trust in chariots and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God."

    ISAIAH 31:1

"Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!"

We do NOT lean on the arm of the flesh.

    PROVERBS 18:10

"The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe."

Of note, earlier that day, when Sarah & dad went on their bike ride, I just wanted to give God some glory and praise and worship. And, so, I was doing just that and also intreating of the LORD to keep them safe. I always get worried whenever they go on a bike ride. There was no reason to expect another car to be on the road, as it was late but also it was a very quiet street. So, we never know when something will come out of the quiet and surprise us.

I am soo very thankful Jesus, for you are so very good to us.

Yes, There is POWER in the name of Jesus. No other name.

    ISAIAH 9:6

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

    ACTS 4:12

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Jesus is the NAME of the GREAT "I Am." There are too many Scriptures on this for me to type out. Generally, God, from the very beginning in Genesis and all throughout the Bible, tells us that He is the "I Am." This simply means that He will be what ever we need him to be (all things).

I wanted to post the song that you like, Colleen, "There is Power In the Name of Jesus" by LTCBR (Pastor Tony Spell), but, I cannot find it anywhere. I like this following song too. You'll like it as well.

One of these days I want to know scripture like you do. Amazing.

Great Song. Thank you! I like it. The next time I hear it on his services, I'll turn it into a mp3.

I "steal" some (33) of their songs from their services that I love, but they don't post on Media. I've looked up other versions, but really love the choir and the Spell's better most of the time.

Maybe not really stealing - I do tithe to LTCBR every week and they're not selling albums or anything like that, so not really stealing. I thought about sending a player with those songs to them, but figured they'd have them already.

    Hi Colleen,

You know who really DOES know Scripture by memory by heart..... is Pastor Spell. For me, I look it up on the Strong's Concordance App. Why don't you download that onto your phone, Colleen? If you can remember some of the words in a Scripture, you can type that into the App and it will bring up associated Scriptures. If you read your Bible pretty consistently and listen to preaching consistently (hopefully in in-person church services), then, you will become more & more familiar with some of the word in Scripture.

Wow! I wish I was more tech-saavy like you. I don't know how to do things like turning something into am MP3 or stuff like that. I can do very basic tech stuff to get by, but, that is so awesome that you have learned how to do that stuff!

It's just simply my opinion, but, I don't think that Pastor Spell or LTCBR would mind if you made copies for yourself in one file of their songs. I think that Pastor Spell would love for you to listen to worship and sing along. I and my family have met him and have spoken with him lots during last year's Revolution, and he is very personable with people and not at arm's length. He is a very nice person.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of the day!

Wow! That is a miracle! God is Great! Thank you for sharing!

It's like that song LTC sings - I don't know the title - but the words are "There's Power In The Name of Jesus." My husband and I watch plane crash documentaries - Why Planes Crash or something like that on the weather channel. They start with the crash and the survivor stories (some have no survivors) then go on to how they determined what caused the crash. Some survivors, when they knew they were going to crash and possibly die, have said they called out to Jesus to save them. And they were saved. And they gave God all the glory for their lives being saved. Even one of the pilots I saw. Beautiful.
