I got baptised many years ago at the age of 15. Many of my relatives ( I think almost all) have been baptized so the subject matter was something I didn't give much thought to. For years the water baptism has been a source of controversy. I remember being in college years ago and an acquaintance of mine said, "I don't believe that baptism is necessary, because I believe I could be baptized in the Jordan River and come up the same man". I had an incident where about 6 people became angry with me one day in the dining hall in college because I quoted scripture that we are to be baptised in Jesus name, not Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Just recently, someone on social media asked if "maybe baptism was misunderstood", "Why didn't Jesus water baptize anyone while on earth if it was required" Apparently he was watching Youtube video that said water baptism was "The Most Misunderstood Teaching of Jesus" Now before I go even further, lets dig deeper in what the Word of God says. Why is water baptism essential? Where in the Word of God does it tell us to do so? What did Jesus say? We will start with what Jesus said. If you look in St. John 3:5, Jesus said: " Verily, Verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God". In Matthew 3:13-17, you will see where Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist. He did this, so that he may be an example to us. So is water baptism essential to salvation? ABSOLUTELY. Further Bible scriptures: Acts 2:38, Acts 2:41, Acts 8:12, Acts 8:13 are scriptures on baptism in Jesus name. People like to point out Matthew 28:18-20 where Jesus said to baptize in "Father, Son, and Holy Ghost". Understand that the Father is Jesus, the Holy Ghost is Jesus, and the Son is Jesus. Colossians 3:17 tells us "whatsoever ye do in word or deed do all in the name of the Lord Jesus" Repentance, Baptism in Jesus Name, and receiving the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongue is essential to our salvation in this dispensation (Grace). Leave out one or the other, you do not have salvation according to God's Word. If anyone, or anything tells you any different, or contrary to what the Word of God tells you; know that it is not the spirit of God telling you that. God Bless you - may the Lord make his face to shine upon you - in Jesus name U. Pebbles Dunn Fall River, MA

We are all familiar with God's Rainbow. We are also familiar with the Gay pride flag and the homosexual agenda. When looking at both, you see a rainbow right? But are they the same? What exactly is it that you see? What does each symbolize? The Devil is known for his cunning devices and prideful nature. The Gay pride flag is one that tries to disguise itself as the light, and harmless. Let's start with numbers. Not just numbers, prophetic numbers. Numbers, numbers, numbers! The rainbow is mentioned 7 times in the Bible God's rainbow was introduced to us in the Book of Genesis Chapt 9: 13-17. It was a promise to us that He would not destroy the Earth with a flood again. We see the rainbow again in Ezekiel 1:28, in which Ezekiel has a vision and in awe falls upon his face, part of the scripture reads, "This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord". So what is the significance of the number 7? The Lord's rainbow has 7 colors. The number 7 is God's perfect number and symbolizes perfection or completion (7 dispensations, 7 days in a week, the Lord rested on the 7th day, 7 Annual Holy Days, etc....) The Gay pride flag has 6 colors. The number 6 symbolizes the fall of man, human weakness, the evils of Satan ( we all know the '666', & man was created on the 6th day, etc...) . So the flag, is missing a color: INDIGO. In short, people like to twist it and say that the rainbow is in the Bible to justify the Gay Pride Flag. Unacceptable and never will be in the eyes of the Lord; the "Gay Pride Rainbow" is not in the Bible. I will leave you with this scripture: "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." I have attached a document in regards to the KJV Bible, its history, its accuracy, importance, and so on. In comparison to the NIV Bible, this is the best biblical translation. The Biblical scholars who translated it between 1604 to 1611 from Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic had directly translated it word for word, making it the most accurate Bible translation out of all the versions today. The NIV bible (translated in 1978) is translated from the KJV bible "Thought for Thought", and there were some bias & prejudices from its translators. Below are some scriptures that are in the KJV version, but missing from the NIV Bible: Matthew 17:21 Matthew 23:14 Mark 7:16 Mark 9:44 Mark 9:46 Mark 11:26 Mark 15:28 Luke 17:36 John 5:3–4 Acts 8:37 Acts 15:34 Acts 24:6–8 Acts 28:29 Romans 16:24 The bible tells us that: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works" - 2 Timothy 16-17. So don't let anyone try to trick you in saying that the NIV is more clear, or a better translation, or more beautiful. God bless you - and stay encouraged. Pebbles D.

Apostolic podcast with our brother @Christopher Lepper and his wife. Great to have a solid biblical podcast out there instead of people just throwing out mindless opinions on the Bible. This podcast is real Bible class, it is such a relief to see, hear, and gives us a break from the foolishness of the world that we are consumed with daily. Check out the Apostolic Journal when you get a chance join Christopher and his wife as they discuss their spiritual journey, testimonies, their relationship with Jesus, and the scriptures that helped them through trials and tribulations.

Praise the Lord everyone Since we are living the last and evil days I thought it was important that I post this in depth article regarding spiritual discernment, what it is, and its importance. One thing I see a lot, are people who say they are of the faith, or a follower of God's word yet they tend to make one bad decision after another. Since this is a hot topic we will start with the COVID vaccination that the world is trying to pressure us to get. A lot of people in church lack spiritual discernment, or rather, the ability to judge right or wrong, error and truth. It is vital, especially now to know when something is evil or spiritual truth. Who is talking through someone? Is it the Devil? Is it Jesus? Always ask yourself that when you are unsure. Would Jesus tell you to get an experimental vaccine (which is not even a vaccine)? Would he tell you to "trust the science'? Or would he tell you to trust HIM?
