During preparations for our second annual Revolution conference, Pastor Tony Spell decided to merge Commit and Revolution as one big conference from now on. What does that mean? Revolution will now have all of the revival style preaching as Revolution combined with all of the soul-winning aspects of Commit to help charge the next generation with a passion for reaching the lost. We kept the Revolution AYC name, but the focus has expanded tremendously for this 5-day conference!
Historically, Revolution started when the annual WPF PEAK conference was cancelled. 2020 has been a year of great transition, shifting, and unexpected chaos, starting with the coronavirus that has struck fear in many across the globe. Mid-March, many governmental entities instituted bans on businesses and suppressed freedom of religion. Masks, social distancing, and sanitizer became trending words. As such, the highly anticipated PEAK conference was cancelled.
Nonetheless, Life Tabernacle Church, under the leadership of Pastor Tony Spell and Sis. Shaye Spell, and Bishop B.A. Spell, continued to hold services in Baton Rouge, Louisiana despite state mandates against freedom of religion. Life Tabernacle has experienced monumental growth and a Holy Ghost outpouring despite the naysayers and a plethora of unjust and unbalanced media against Pastor Spell and the Life Tabernacle family. In the face of death threats, arrests, and court cases, Pastor Spell has boldly expressed to the world and the Church that His orders and convictions come from Almighty God—as did Daniel during the reign of King Nebuchadnezzar. Scripture tells us that Daniel “did as he did aforetime” (Daniel 6:10).
Just a few hours after PEAK was cancelled, Pastor Spell decided to host Revolution: America’s Youth Conference in Baton Rouge, LA. That’s how this conference was born. Life Tabernacle’s leadership scrambled and worked diligently to make this conference happen because, despite the divisive strategies of the devil, those in the Body of Christ need one another in these dark and unpredictable hours. The work of the ministry will continue. We will not fear; rather, we will put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6). Often the greatest Azusa street like experiences are birthed out of great chaos. We believe THIS is THAT, and we are so grateful you joined us in this Revolution for the Kingdom of God.
“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.” – I Peter 4:12-14
